I cried too when the movie even started! I was so excited cuz my dad used to read that book all the time when I was little! When I saw the trailer I promised my dad the first time I watched it would be with him! Is was amazing!

When I read the book I was like 6 and when I saw the movie it made me cry at how much max was like me and i guess thats why i loved the book so much, the movie i think like ssaid before was more ment for the people who read the book as a kid and now see the movei rather then kids who are reading it now….

It really wasn’t meant for children who read the book today, it was meant for the children who read the book when it first came out. They are two very different focus points, but they deal with the same problems. Same story, told for different audiences.
Children’s movie or not, this is still an excellent movie, that in reality is deeper than most put it out to be.
