I really liked the movie, my mom took care of me when my folks split too, I can understand Max’s anxiety and inability to control or communicate his emotions at that age, and the story of the wild things grew on me the more I thought about it, but I do admit, a lot of the criticism of this film is valid and pretty funny. this movie was beautiful.
it made me cry tears of happiness and sorrow.
i dont think anyone can understand this movie unless they felt the same pain.the purety of childdhood, the want and need for love, its all so much for a little boy.please don’t twist their intentions of the creation of this movie.you can take it however you want.there is no right or wrong.but i dont belive its just about wanting to be a kid, its to understand their pain, and their loneliness, neglected by oblivious parents.
